Sunflower SEND Hub offers support services tailored to meet the unique needs of SEND children. Our dedicated team is committed to providing guidance and assistance to families, ensuring that every child receives the support they require to thrive.

At Sunflower SEND Hub, we believe in the power of information. We strive to create a supportive environment by sharing valuable resources and knowledge with families. Our aim is to equip parents, caregivers and healthcare professionals with the information they need to make informed decisions about their children's care and development.

Your support allows us to expand our reach and provide essential services to those who need it most.
REFERRALS & PLACEMENTS
At Sunflower SEND Hub, we offer flexible, child-centered placements for children with additional needs. We accept referrals from local authorities, parents/carers, schools and other professionals.
Local Authority Funded Referrals:
If your child has a SEND caseworker or placement officer, you can request a placement at Sunflower SEND Hub through your local authority. Once a referral is made, your local authority will liaise with us directly to begin the process.
You're also welcome to contact us alongside your child's caseworker to share any extra information or check on the progress of a referral.
Privately Funded Referrals:
We understand that not all children are eligible for local authority funding. Families can contact us directly to discuss privately funded placements. We'll guide you through a short needs assessment to ensure our setting is the right fit.
Please note: We only have a small number of privately funded spaces available. If these are filled by LA-funded children, we may need to place private applicants on a waiting list.
School Referrals and Shared Placements:
We welcome referrals from schools for children who:

Are currently in mainstream education.

Are on part-time or reduced timetables.

Would benefit from additional, tailored support.
We're happy to explore shared-care placements, where a child attends Sunflower SEND Hub part-time alongside their existing education setting.
Working with Other Provisions:
We also collaborate with other Alternative Provision's to offer joined-up, wraparound support, tailored to each child's needs. If you're a professional or provider interested in working with us, please get in touch.
